Warranty.

Every Mukluk stove comes with a written warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply on top.

1. Coverage periods

• 5 years: steel shell and welds.
• 1 year: exterior finish (high-temp stove paint).
• 1 year: door glass, gaskets, latch and handle hardware.

Coverage starts from the date of dispatch (freight) or the date of pickup (Ballarat).

2. Finish maintenance

The exterior paint will weather with regular use. A yearly touch-up with high-temp stove paint or stove polish keeps it looking good. That is normal maintenance, not a defect.

3. What we'll do

If a covered defect appears in the warranty period, email hello@muklukwoodstoves.com.au with photos and your order number. We will repair or replace the affected part, at our choice, and pay return freight on faulty parts within Australia.

4. What's not covered

• Normal wear, soot or scaling.
• Glass broken by impact or sudden cooling.
• Damage from over-firing, burning treated/painted timber, plastics or accelerants.
• Corrosion from coastal use without proper maintenance.
• Stoves modified or repaired outside our workshop.
• Installation that doesn't follow AS/NZS 2918 or our owner's manual.

5. Your statutory rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this warranty document overrides those rights.
